Christopher Schelling
My work is primarily intuitive and utilizes a variety of forms referencing the figural, objective and non-objective. When I approach my work I find a specific passage, something about the form that appeals to me. The image then informs itself and evolves from these points, taking on a life of its own.

My imagery suggests a relationship between the self and perception to reveal connectivity between our lived environment(s), thoughts and feelings. This includes how we exist with others, our surroundings and daily experiences. My abstractions are designed to reflect [to us] who we are and what we think.
